1. Best Restaurant in Old Town Marbella: The Farm

The best restaurant in Marbella’s Old Town has to be The Farm. This unique dining experience is tucked away down a side street. Enter through a small doorway to find a multi-level garden space, where rustic farmhouse meets boho beach bar. The menu features organic food and plenty of creative selections, with gluten free and vegan options available. Of course, the cocktail menu is also delicious, including fresh ingredients.

What’s more, The Farm supports the local community in Marbella with a variety of seasonal events to showcase local artists and creators. You can check their online events page to find out what unique offerings they’re putting on during your stay. We love that The Farm supports the local economy and encourages visitors to do the same. You can feel good about supporting this restaurant during your time in Marbella.

2. Best Health Food Cafe in Marbella: DeZentral Coffee

So often the best things in life are unexpected, and DeZentral was one of those surprises discovered on a wrong turn. We stumbled upon this organic cafe just 10 minutes outside of Marbella. The price is hard to beat, with all breakfast and lunch options falling under $10. We recommend ordering a fresh juice or coffee, and trying a few choices from their rotating dessert case (Gluten free and vegan desserts available, of course).

Do note, Dezentral is beautifully decorated inside and out, but it sits inside a nice strip mall. It’s right off the highway, making it easily accessible by car. If you’re staying right in Old Town and only have a few days, it may not be worth it to make the trip all the way out here. However, if you have a car, you should definitely add this cafe to your list of where to eat in Marbella.

Mimo by the Sea, Marbella

3. Best Trendy Restaurant in Marbella: Mimo By The Sea

Mimo is picture perfect and picked for its prime location. Mimo By The Sea is a little cafe situated right on the beach boardwalk in Marbella. Imagine ocean views, a quaint outdoor patio with a fruit stand, and the sun shining down as you sip your morning tea: this is Mimo.

This restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with indoor and outdoor dining options. Sample from a delicious juice and smoothie selection, and watch the passerby on the boardwalk just across the street. Unfortunately, the Avocado Toast wasn’t impressive, but the Acai Bowl was a 10/10.

Seafood Paella at La Bodega Del Mar

Delicious Sangria

4. La Bodega Del Mar

Finally we have arrived – at one of the best spots in Marbella for Spanish food! Located in the newer area of downtown Marbella, La Bodega Del Mar boasts a well lit terrace with sea views and an incredible tapas menu. Order as many tapas as your heart desires so you can enjoy a little bit of everything.

Before you get too full, make sure to order the Spanish Paella for the table (if you like fish, try the Seafood Paella). We ate outside in the evening and they treated us to warm blankets and shots of limoncello to end the night. Spanish hospitality blew us away time and time again at these local restaurants, as most servers would bring out a night cap on the house.

Tip: The Paella is priced per person, and we found that placing the order for two people was more than enough to feed four, after some tapas and sangria.

View from Lateral of Plaza de Los Naranjos

Interior of Lateral in Old Town, Marbella

5. Best Restaurant in Orange Square Marbella: Lateral

We spent many days and nights walking through Old Town, and always found ourselves back in Plaza de Los Naranjos. All roads literally seem to lead back to this beautifully decorated plaza. Located right in the center of Old Town Marbella, it was stunning in December with Christmas lights strung amongst the orange trees. Of the restaurants located right in Orange Square, Lateral was our personal favorite, and we think it will be yours too.

The dining area looks like something out of an interior design magazine. Try the Tuna Tartar, the Roasted Carrot Cream Moruna, and the Nigiri Assortment (the veggie one was impressive). Luckily, we were able to return here a few times to enjoy the best gluten free bread we have ever had. Having tried half the menu, we feel it’s safe to say you really can’t go wrong here!

Fresh ceviche at Tikitano

Cheese board at Tikitano

6. Best Restaurant with a view: Tikitano by Besaya

Wondering where to eat in Marbella if you’re looking to treat yourself? Tikitano is the best restaurant in Marbella with a view. This stylish establishment claims to be one of the most beautiful restaurants on Spain’s Costa del Sol, and we have to agree. Eat at Tikitano for unbeatable ocean views during the day and a peaceful firelit atmosphere during the evening. Both the terrace and indoor dining room are truly spectacular. Do note, this spot is on the pricier side, but it’s worth it if you’re going to savor every bite.

If you have something to celebrate, like a birthday, a holiday, an anniversary etc., this is the place to do it. Or maybe you’re simply in the mood to celebrate life – and in that case, we commend you and encourage you to check out this stylish venue.

7. Manuka Restaurant

Here we go again, recommending another organic, vegan-friendly, restaurant for all our health conscious girls. Manuka is a must on this list of where to eat in Marbella if you’re vegan. Plus, Manuka has a menu free from refined sugars, additives, and chemicals.

The smoothie and juice page of their menu includes immunity shots and acai bowls served all day. Try the “Cheating Cola” with fresh ginger, maple syrup & lime, or the “Home-made Lemonade” with raw apple cider vinegar and lime juice.

If you are interested in healthy eating, we recommend coming here for breakfast or lunch for refreshingly unique and exciting healthy food that tastes even better than it looks on the plate. Manuka is an eat the rainbow kind of place, and its trendy atmosphere and colorful food make it a great spot for pictures. There are three Manuka locations in the Marbella region, so choose whichever is closest to you!

Indoor/Outdoor Dining at Wild Cafe

Incredible Organic Food at Wild

8. Wild Cafe

This restaurant is just outside Marbella in the neighboring town of Estepona, but it was so good that we just had to include it on this list. Wild Cafe crafts thoughtful, organic, whole food dishes. This incredible foodie spot was one of our favorites, and unfortunately we found it on their last day of the season. So naturally, we ordered half the menu and settled in.

Located just 15 minutes outside central Marbella, we believe this is worth the drive if you have the time. The restaurant finds inspiration for their food from “flavors of the earth.” Aesthetically, Wild matches this earthy-vibe with wooden tables, hanging plants, cushioned seats, natural light, and eclectic cookware.

A self-proclaimed flexitarian restaurant, Wild has choices to suit every palate. Dish presentation is next level and the vibe is just too good to miss.
